Thermal Coffee Pots

Coffee pots are used to hold freshly brewed coffee. The coffee pot is placed underneath a funnel or a chamber where the drink is made by passing hot water through coffee grounds. The coffee is then transferred into the coffee pot till it is drunk. The coffee pot is placed on a thermostatic heating pad so that the coffee does not get cold. But repeated reheating of the coffee gives it a slightly burnt taste. To avoid this, thermal coffee pots are used. Thermal coffee pots work on the same principles as a thermos flask. It is insulated with a double layered wall and has a highly polished interior to prevent heat from escaping. Most thermal coffee pots are made of stainless steel with a chrome finish. Some have plastic or ceramic exterior walls. A good quality thermal coffee pot can keep coffee hot for up to four hours after brewing.
